Missing key figures like forward Jean-Philippe Mateta and defender Daniel Muñoz, the Eagles departed Dublin with a comfortable result that all but secures them a place in the Conference League playoffs.
A further victory in their upcoming fixture against Finland's KuPS ought to be sufficient to secure straight entry to the knockout stages, especially after a prior stumble against Strasbourg.
Fringe Players Seize the Moment
This match provided a platform for some of Palace's lesser-used talent to shine. Christantus Uche, making only his second beginning after joining on loan from Getafe, notched the account with a well-taken finish. Forward Eddie Nketiah contributed a another, scoring for the second consecutive match.

The match was effectively over eight minutes before half-time. Yeremy Pino weaved past some comically weak challenges before coolly slotting a shot past goalkeeper Wessel Speel to make it 3-0.
Following the break, manager Oliver Glasner took the chance to withdraw key individuals like Kamada and Wharton. Substitute Romain Esse came close to scoring with his first touch, only to see his effort blocked.
Esse was desperately unlucky later on, seeing one shot strike off both posts before being gathered on the line. Uche then missed a glaring chance, showing there is still scope for development in his game.
A solitary concern for Palace was a late knock to Justin Devenny, who was forced off. This allowed 17-year-old forward Benji Casey to make his first-team debut, rounding off an otherwise perfect night for the traveling side.
